A staple in the General Motors brand portfolio, Cadillac is the oldest and possibly the most prestigious domestic luxury carmaker. Named after the French explorer who founded Detroit in the 1700s, Cadillac has traditionally been known for producing plush, soft-riding sedans that appeal to a more senior crowd. However, by revising and expanding its lineup over the past few years, today's Cadillacs are now appealing to a more youthful audience by offering powerful engines, chiseled lines and a full complement of luxury features.
