Ashley Michelle Tisdale (born July 2nd, 1985) is an American model, actress and singer. After appearing in several TV roles during the late 1990s and early 2000s, she became known to young audiences for playing Maddie on the Disney Channel sitcom The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and Sharpay Evans in the Disney Channel Original Movie High School Musical and its sequels. Tisdale was described by Business Wire in 2006 as "one of America's hottest young celebrities. She plays Candace Flynn in Phineas and Ferb, plays Sharpay Evans in the High School Musical movies and plays Maddie Fitzpatrick in The Suite Life of Zack & Cody.
