Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe have separated after seven years of marriage, PEOPLE has confirmed.
"We are saddened to announce that Reese and Ryan have decided to formally separate," a rep for the couple said in a statement released Monday. "They remain committed to their family and we ask that you please respect their privacy and the safety of their children at this time." TMZ.com first reported the couple's split.
Famous showbiz celebrity, Ryan Phillippe divorced her wife, Reese Witherspoon, in year 2006. It is said that Reese was the one who called for the divorce and despite immense resistance and reluctance showed by Ryan Phillippe, both of them got divorced. Recent news suggests that ex-wife of Ryan Phillippe is looking to get married again.
Reese disclosed her engagement with Jim Toth, yesterday. She said in her public statement that she has decided to give her marriage another chance. Ex-wife of Ryan Phillippe is marrying to her current agent and boyfriend. It is reported that both of them met each other in year 2010; after the break up of Reese with Jake Gyllenhaal (who is currently dating Taylor Swift).
