Japanese researchers have used embryonic stem cells to grow healthy mouse sperm on laboratory dishes, which opens more chances of human illness treatment. Because stem cells not only are the body's master cells and source of all cells and tissues, but also can develop into different types of cells and multiply, it is expected by experts to help treat diseases and disorders, including cancer and diabetes.
